Are your noise barriers suitable for the outdoor environment at campsites: rain, salt and UV rays?
Absolutely. Our noise-reducing fences are designed exclusively for outdoor use. The pine timber used is class 4 autoclave-treated right through to the core – the highest level of treatment for applications exposed to the elements. It is naturally resistant to damp, insects, fungi and rot. The PRIVILÈGE range also features a UV-treated rain-proof fabric (10-year guarantee) which protects the sound-absorbing core from external damage. No maintenance is required; the wood develops a natural patina without losing its acoustic performance.
Can you carry out work on a site covering several hectares with extensive linear features?
Yes, this is one of our B2B specialities. Thanks to our expertise in the production chain and our network of installation partners in France and Belgium, we manage projects ranging from a few dozen to several hundred linear metres. The quotation is broken down by zone and can be phased over several seasons if your investment budget requires it. We also provide you with all the technical documentation required for your administrative, classification or funding applications.
How long does it take from placing the order to installation? How is the installation organised?
We recommend starting the process 3 to 4 months before your desired opening date. This timeframe includes the site survey, design, production and coordination with our partner installer. For urgent projects, we can sometimes speed up the process, subject to availability. Installation is carried out outside the operating season wherever possible, so as not to disrupt your customers. Our team monitors the project remotely and provides you with a handover report.
Is it possible to customise the appearance of the panels to match my website’s visual identity?
Yes, that is one of Akoustys’ key strengths. Dimensions, finishes, slat designs – everything can be customised at no extra cost compared to our standard catalogue.
