Akoustys offers two technologies: the absorptive face (high-density recycled polyurethane foam core, which captures and attenuates sound waves) and the reflective face (dual action reflection + absorption for directional noise management). Both ranges are customisable in materials and finishes.
What panel sizes are available for a sports ground?
Standard panels are available in H100, H120 and H150 (width 193 cm). Combined configurations allow heights of H200, H220, H240, H250, H270 and H300 to be reached (up to 3 metres in height). Installation on a masonry low wall is also possible.
Do Akoustys panels withstand the outdoor conditions of a sports ground?
Yes. The timber used is PEFC-certified pine, fully treated to the core in class 4 autoclave: resistant to insects, fungi and rot. Absorptive panels are equipped with a UV-treated weatherproof membrane guaranteed for 5 years. No specific maintenance is required.
